So there are 3/2 weeks left for school for me.
So far this year I've made empty promises with my art.
I hate myself for doing so, Im just extremly lazy lately...
So this weekend (today/tomorrow and Sunday ) I hope to either get - A) A few simple characters of mine doodled.
B) Draw up my sphinx-sort-of character or scan in her drawings.
C) Draw/doodle or sketch friends characters. For all the times they've drawn art for me. I really need to give back to my friends what they've given me.
Lately I realised that I only really have maybe 1 absoleutly true friend in my school. The rest are just good friends, although good might be stretching it , Nyeh, I won't go into it here but basically catty/snappy people who I realise I can't stand very much of.
I really regret T.Y, not joking at all. I realised today how much I missed my 5th year friends and how much I'll miss them when they're gone.
Next year I'll probably get more shit for wanting to put my head down and just study up to 6th year and stay doing so until after my exams. Ill stay being active online but Illl be paying closer attention in class, especially for maths and languages, I got a D in French and was severly upset over that so I want to desperately improve my written french. Spoken french for me according to my French teacher is very good, good pronounciation which gets me marks in my exam in 6th year c:
So yeah.
I cross my heart and hope to die that I will draw over the weekend. I will scan in drawings and upload them.
I promise I will eventually (if it means working a lot through the summer on art then I will ) give back to my friends and those who have given me art as a present.
In other news, on Wednesday I was at YSI (Young Social Innevators ) , there was Falconry there eue.
I got to hold 2 barn owls, an Irish barn owl and a Scandinavian one.The man in charge then had to fly one of his peregrine/saker hybrids as it was getting a bit excited. So he put the adorable little hood on it and took out one of his 2 Harris Hawks present, Kooki (either that or Cookie not sure ). There was archery on aswell so he commandeered the large target boards and Archery Area and had his Kookie walk on the ground (took some coercing to do so but it was adorable when a Hawk skips/walks amg ).
He pointed at me and held a glove out to me. He put a chick leg in my hand and had Kooki fly to me. OMG IT WAS SO EXCITING AND AMG. I've always loved Falconry uwu So it was like a silent fangirling moment. I expected Kookie to be a little bit heavy. IT WAS LIKE HOLD A PILLOW. THERE AS ALMOST NO WEIGHT AND AMG. JUST YUS.
But omg. The Saker/peregrine hybrid was flying silent 'cause the man forgot bells for the cutie. So it vanished and ended up sitting on an Aerial where it got mobbed by crows. It was so funny. The man was yelling and blowing his whistle at the falcon and it sat there happy as larry , until a few crows plucked up some courage and swooped at it. It then proceed to half fly half dive back to the man. It was so fast and you could see when it tucked its wings in and omg. It was so amazing to watch. It was like slow motion except the bird went zooming over your head. He stooped the falcon (I think thats the right phrasing, he was using the string which he would swirl about to get the bird to fly at, to train them to catch things in the air.) But it flew up so high and it was so cool to watch and omg.
I loved Kookie the Harris hawk best eue, mainly because I got to hold her for a few moments.
So anyways, I promise to try and do some form of art over the weekend. Im not dead, not yet guys uwu
